As per Plastic Waste Management Rules , any Plastic which will be import or manufacture in India , then as the Targets defined by Central Pollution Control Board , the Importer and Manufacturer have to take the responsibility for recycling of that quantity of Plastic waste. And it will be mention in their EPR license issued by CPCB/SPCB. On the basis of invoices which will be provided by importer and manufacturer, the CPCB will calculate the target of Plastic waste quantity.
Under Plastic Waste Management Rules , Plastic Credit benefit is very good initiative taken by the government and policy makers. Plastic credit is the additional benefit which a Plastic recycler can earn very easily if he follow proper compliance.
