The process begins with the submission of an application, followed by a monthly agenda meeting where the files are reviewed by a committee comprising regional officers and senior members from the Ministry.

Basic Document List Required 

The Ministry has specified a list of required documents for obtaining the import license for used medical devices, as detailed below:

1. Proprietorship / CIN Certificate 
2. GST certificate.
3. IEC Code 
4. Aadhar Card and PAN card of authorized signatory.
5. MSME Certificate
6. The details of agreement with end users/buyers
7. Company PAN

These documents are submitted via the government portal and subsequently reviewed during the agenda meeting; if everything is found to be in order, the Ministry grants permission to import the used medical devices.
