Requirement of  EPR E waste license for PIBO

Now, under the E- Waste Management Rule, which was amended by the Central Pollution Control Board and the Ministry of Environment and Forest in 2022, this e - waste  recycler gets another separate benefit under EPR E waste credit as well. This means that in India, any producer, any importer or any brand owner who is importing electronics, manufacturing and selling it in India,  the Central Pollution Control Board will define a target for the amount of electronics which have to recycled by him every year, which is mentioned in his EPR license.
