How to Import Ferrous and non ferrous metal scrap in Uttar Pradesh

Basic documents requirment and Government Fees in Uttar Pradesh

Process of submission of application in Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board ( UPPCB) for import of Metal scrap in Uttar Pradesh.0

When we arrange all these documents along with the recycle agreement, then this application is submitted to the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board in offline mode, in which a demand draft of ₹25000 as government fee is submitted in favor of the Member Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, (UPPCB) Lucknow. We must submit the government fee (DD) in Lucknow along with Form 5, which details the type of scrap metal we intend to import into Uttar Pradesh. The concerned department then reviews the application and, if inspection is required based on the requirements, may also conduct a site inspection. After that, the concerned concerned department will issue a 5-year license to import metal scrap into Uttar Pradesh.

This license can also be called a One-time Authorization, a Hazardous Waste Import Authorization, or a ferrous or nonferrous metal scrap import authorization.
